## 322 new Couples cards

14 October 2026 · New

- Sweet ones, silly ones for a couple at a party, and flirty ones. Some are from home (Holi, IPL, garba, antakshari), some from the US (Thanksgiving, Taco Tuesday, snow days).

- Cards for couples who live apart, like a countdown to your next meetup, come up only when the room is in call mode.

- Cards that only work with an audience, like Two Truths and a Lie, come up only when three or more of you are playing.

## Couples is now 18+

14 October 2026 · New

- The Couples deck now carries an 18+ label wherever you pick a deck, like Spicy and Extreme. Its cards are about romance and desire between two adults, so it should have said so from the start.

- Party and Friends stay the decks for players aged 13 and over.

## Easier with a keyboard, and offline

14 October 2026 · Fixes

- A Skip to content link, deck pickers you move through with the arrow keys, a pause button on the moving language strips, and bigger tap targets.

- Form mistakes now show under the field instead of in a tooltip that fades.

- The installed app shows a proper page when you're offline.

- Cards now use US spelling: favorite, mom.

## Every policy, written out

13 October 2026 · New

- Four new pages sit beside the terms and the privacy policy: a cookie policy that lists every cookie and everything the game keeps in your browser, community rules for playing fair, a refund policy for Premium, and a plain disclaimer.

- The privacy policy and terms now link to them, and say only what the site does today.

## The Couples deck, on one page

12 October 2026 · New

- Every truth and dare in the Couples deck now has its own page. Read them before you play, and see which dares still work over a video call.

- The how-to-play page now opens with the rules in one paragraph.

- We rewrote the privacy policy and terms to be shorter and clearer. They now share one layout with this changelog. A bar at the top shows where you are, and you can make the text bigger.

- The privacy policy now lists every service we use, including Google reCAPTCHA and Google sign-in. It also says exactly what an account stores, and how to stop the emails new accounts receive.

## Clearer age labels

9 October 2026 · New

- The site is for players aged 13 and over. Party, Friends and Couples are written for that age. Spicy and Extreme are for adults and now show an 18+ label wherever you pick a deck, including on the invite a friend opens.

- Couples now sticks to romance, secrets and kissing. Its boldest cards moved to Extreme, the deck for two adults.

- We removed cards that asked for a nude or a body photo, asked for a 'yes' before the question, or asked someone to hand over their camera roll or passcode.

- Invites now ask 'What's your name?' first, so the room code no longer ends up as your name.

## Change the deck mid-game

17 September 2026 · New

- The host can now change the deck from inside the room, in the lobby or during a game. Tap 'Change deck', pick one and confirm. The card on the table stays, the next card comes from the new deck, and everyone keeps their seat.

- Starting a new room with the same people no longer repeats cards. Each phone remembers what it has been dealt that evening, so the next room picks up where the last one stopped. Pass-and-play does the same between games on one phone.

## Cards that use names

17 September 2026 · New

- In online rooms, cards that said 'the player on your left' or 'the person opposite you' now use that player's name.

- About a hundred more cards meant for a full table no longer appear in two-player games.

- We reworded around two hundred cards so each one says clearly what it is asking.

## Better games for two

10 September 2026 · New

- Call mode is now on by default in every room, so cards that need everyone in one place stay out unless the host turns them back on.

- A two-player room on the Party or Friends deck now suggests Couples and Spicy, which are written for two. The host can switch in one tap.

- Each player gets three free skips per game, and the button shows how many are left. In drinking rooms, a skip still costs sips.

- The host can end a game and send everyone back to the lobby with their seats kept.

- A few cards that needed a full table now appear only with three or more players.

- Cards in your language: tap 'Cards in' when you join a room or set up pass-and-play, and pick from nearly two hundred languages. Each card then shows a live translation under the English. Every player picks their own language, your phone's language is suggested first, and Settings remembers your choice.

## The Party deck, rebuilt

9 September 2026 · New

- We went through the Party deck card by card, the last of the five decks. Out went the icebreaker trivia and the dares that repeated one joke: eight ways to act like a household object, ten ways to do squats while naming things, nine ways to record yourself.

- In came 189 new cards: embarrassing confessions, who-here questions, physical dares with a partner, phone reveals, performances, silly rules for a round, and a lightly flirty set that suits any table.

## The Friends deck, rebuilt

9 September 2026 · New

- We went through the Friends deck card by card. Out went the questions that felt like counselling ('what are you tired of explaining'), the same joke fifteen times ('describe each of us as a season, a biscuit, an appliance'), and every dare that texted someone outside the game.

- In came 200 cards that only work with real friends: who here you would lie for, the story everyone promised never to tell, the last thing you said behind someone's back, and a few dares that need the whole group in one room.

## The Couples deck, rebuilt

9 September 2026 · New

- We rebuilt the Couples deck with 270 new cards in three moods: romantic questions, secrets you have not told each other yet, and a frank set for two that stops short of Extreme.

- 220 old cards came out, including interview-style questions, therapy questions, guessing games about emojis and shopping orders, and a dare that texted your best friend.

- The public question pages now leave the frank couples cards inside the game, so those pages are safe to open with SafeSearch on.

## The Spicy deck, rebuilt

9 September 2026 · New

- We went through the Spicy deck card by card. The weak cards are gone: follow-up questions that made no sense on their own, relationship-advice questions, and every dare that texted or pranked someone outside the game.

- New flirty and frank cards for close friends, couples and mixed groups, such as who here, rate the player on your left, and kiss marry avoid. A set of in-person dares for friends stays out of rooms that strangers can join.

- Both 18+ decks gained a bolder set for couples. The adults page still prints only the cards that are safe to read anywhere.

## The Extreme deck, rebuilt for two

9 September 2026 · New

- Extreme is now the deck for couples. Every card speaks to your partner. It is still 18+ and still inside the game only.

- Every physical dare has a camera version, so it works for couples playing apart with Playing apart on.

- The old Extreme cards, which asked you to read out your messages, hand over your phone or confess to the group, are gone. They were written for a group, not a partner.

## Safer rooms

8 September 2026 · Fixes

- Room chat is now kept on our server for 30 days so we can act on reports of harassment, spam or misuse. It is deleted automatically after that and used for nothing else. The privacy policy has the details.

- The billing page no longer shows a cancel button on the free plan.

## A page for adults, and Truth or Drink in full

31 August 2026 · New

- New page: /adults prints the Spicy deck in full. It is 18+ and flirty rather than crude. Its boldest cards and the whole Extreme deck stay inside the game.

- The drinking game page now lists every Party, Friends and Couples card with a sip forfeit, with the forfeit next to each card, plus a table of how many cards carry one, two, three or four sips.

- Every question and guide page now links to the others, so you can move between them without going back to the homepage.

- Fixed FAQ answers that showed raw code instead of bold text and links.

## Four new pages

26 August 2026 · New

- New page: /friends has the whole Friends deck, all 659 cards.

- New page: /dares has every dare from the Party, Friends and Couples decks, 540 in all.

- Both pages show which dares work on a video call and which carry a sip forfeit.

- New page: /over-text explains how to play when you are not in the same place, with the cards that work at a distance.

- New page: /facetime rates ten games for how well they work on a video call.

- The homepage now links to all five question and guide pages.

## The question hub

25 August 2026 · New

- New page: /questions puts 540 Party, Friends and Couples cards on one page, so you can read them without starting a game.

- The Spicy and Extreme decks are described there, but their cards stay in the game so the page is safe to open anywhere.

## Faster pages

24 August 2026 · Fixes

- Analytics now load after the page appears, so the first card shows up sooner on a slow connection.

- We cut the social preview image from 649 KB to 136 KB and fixed three page-speed warnings.

## Truth or Drink, and working email

18 August 2026 · New

- New page: /drinking-game has the full rules for Truth or Drink and every card with a sip forfeit.

- Verification and password-reset emails were not reaching anyone because our sending domain was not fully verified. That is fixed, and every email since has been delivered.

- Account settings and billing now need a verified email, the same as hosting a room.

## Accounts, install and game history

17 August 2026 · New

- Sign up with email or Google. Playing and joining still need no account. Only hosting a room does.

- Install the game on your home screen and it opens full screen, like an app.

- New dashboard: your last 20 games, how many rooms you have played and your favourite deck.

- Pick one of 66 avatars, or keep your initial. Everyone in the room sees it on your seat.

- Turn alerts: you can now switch off the 'your turn' reminder in Settings.

## Call mode and drinking mode

17 August 2026 · New

- Call mode: a host switch that limits the deck to cards that work when players are apart. Every in-person dare for couples has a version for the camera.

- Drinking mode: a host switch that turns Skip into a sip forfeit on cards that carry one. It is off by default and never turns on by itself.

- Rooms now survive a server restart, so an update during your game no longer ends it.

## A much bigger deck

17 August 2026 · New

- The deck grew from 100 to 2,927 hand-written cards across Party, Friends, Couples, Spicy and Extreme.

- Cards now know what they need. A two-player game no longer gets 'rank everyone here', and online rooms never deal a dare where one player touches another.

- We checked every card, 50 at a time, dropped 54 duplicates and fixed 41 wrong tags.

## Live rooms and pass-and-play

14 August 2026 · New

- Private rooms: share a six-character code and play live with friends on their own phones. Turns, cards and seats stay in sync.

- Pass and play: one phone, up to 10 players, no account and no waiting on the internet between cards.

- Fixed the same day players reported them: duplicate seats when two tabs were open, copy-link failing without a message, and leaving a room by accident with no way back.

## truthordaregame.net is live
