Effective 13 October 2026

Truth or Dare is a party game for fun. A card is only a suggestion, your group decides what happens, and you play at your own risk. This page sums up the parts of our terms of use that say what we are and are not responsible for; the terms are the full version.

1.A game, not advice

Nothing on the site is medical, psychological, relationship, legal or any other professional advice. The game is not a dating service or therapy. If a card brings up something that troubles you, talk to someone you trust or a professional.

2.About the cards

The questions and dares are written by us for entertainment. Some are personal or embarrassing, and the Spicy and Extreme decks are explicit and for adults only. Each deck is labelled, so choose one that suits everyone at the table.

Card counts and lists change as we add, edit and remove cards. Translations are made by a machine and can be wrong; the English card is always the original.

3.Playing at your own risk

Anyone can turn down any card. You are responsible for your own safety and for what you choose to do, say, send or show. Skip any dare that could hurt you, someone else or anything around you. The drinking game is only for people of legal drinking age, and water always counts.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any injury, loss, damage, upset or embarrassment that comes from playing.

4.Other players

We do not check who players are or how old they are. What another player says, does, records or shares is their responsibility, not ours, online or in person. The community rules say what we expect from everyone, and how to report a player.

5.The site itself

We offer the site as it is and as available. We do our best to keep it running, but we do not promise it will always work, be free of errors or keep a room going. When ads launch, they will come from advertising partners: an ad is not our recommendation, and we are not responsible for what advertisers sell.

6.Names and other sites

"Truth or Dare" is the name of a party game played around the world for centuries. This site is not connected with, or endorsed by, any film, television show, book, app or company that uses the name.

Links to other sites are there for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them. Questions about this page go to [email protected].
